The Quilted Crossings house was built in 2011 by a local family with deep roots in the Woodland/Lake Odessa area. It was built with the view of hosting family gatherings for kids, grandkids, and other friends, relatives, and neighbors. So as you and your group gather here to sew, scrap, quilt, share, eat, and otherwise build memories and stronger bonds of friendship, you are in no small way honoring the original intent of this house, that became a home, that became Quilted Crossings.
Kevin & Laura are your hosts at Quilted Crossings. Both grew up in the area, Laura in Clarksville, Kevin in Lake Odessa, and they now live near Hastings with their two teenage sons. After years spent in employment in Grand Rapids and elsewhere around the state, they are glad to now have the opportunity to spend a little more time in Woodland closer to home, and are especially delighted to have you consider Quilted Crossings for your next small group event.
Woodland and the surrounding areas have a rich history. The hosts have family roots that intertwine with some of it. They're looking forward to learning more about those roots and writing of it here. Check back soon!
